Financial Milestones for Teens & Young Adults (Part of Youth Month) - Virtual (via Zoom)
A workshop especially for teens and young adults, providing them a fun entry into the adult world of money. Depending on the age and interests of your group, they will learn how to:
- Manage their first checking accounts and/or credit cards.
- Build a good credit score.
- Grow their savings with their first investments.
- Create money management habits that will lead to a lifetime of financial wellness and resiliency.

Planning for a Happy Retirement - Virtual (via Zoom)
If you are nearing retirement this is the workshop for you. Everyone knows that saving for retirement is important, but there are other factors to consider the closer you get.
In this workshop you will
- Consider lifestyle scenarios that affect your costs.
- Make a plan to eliminate debt that may drain your funds more quickly.
- Talk about how to spend your long-saved funds in ways that lead to happiness.

Financial Counseling through Lutheran Social Services
AHCU's Financial Choice offered through LSS Financial Counseling, gives you, and your immediate family, access to six free financial counseling sessions. What is LSS?
LSS has been a trusted nonprofit organization in Minnesota and Wisconsin communities since 1987. They offer a variety of services to support individuals and families learn and grow through financial wellness. They've developed several workshops geared towards parents and teens to help maneuver the financial road ahead.
Meet Shannon Doyle From LSS Financial Counseling
Shannon Doyle, Program Manager for Partnerships and Financial Education, earned her degree in social work from the University of St Catherine in St. Paul, MN. She joined the LSS Financial Counseling staff as a Certified Financial Counselor in 2007 and has worn many different hats since. Shannon is passionate about economic opportunity for all, consumer protection and coaching people towards financial success.
Earlier in her life, Shannon made many money mistakes – one reason for her
dedication to working with others to avoid or fix their mistakes and reach financial stability and growth.
In her interactive workshops, Shannon offers practical professional tips, personal experience and humor to

Meet Randy Theil From Servion Financial Advisors
Randall W. Thiel is a Financial Advisor that has acquired the necessary registration in securities and licensing in insurance products to provide advice and direction in the complicated world of investments.
Randall is a life-time resident of Minnesota. After graduating high school from his hometown of Glencoe, Randall moved to the Twin Cities and where he has made his home since. Randall is a graduate of Metropolitan State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.
Randall entered the financial services industry in 1993, and has built up a clientele that consists of individuals as well as small business owners. Randall places emphasis on intelligent decisions by working closely with each client to develop a plan for their specific needs. Knowledge and experience play key roles in helping Randall's clients move effectively toward their financial goals.
